Bed and breakfast in North Cornwall

Terra Nova is a well appointed B&B in the heart of North Cornwall’s countryside. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot near the edge of Bodmin Moor, yet conveniently placed for either north or south coasts with all of Cornwall’s varied beaches and coastal walks to explore.

As with a number of websites we began this one by visiting to get a feel of the business and to take photos. These included some panoramic shots which are displayed using a scrolling Flash slideshow which  was programmed in house.

Timberland Doors, Windows & Conservatories is a new and upcoming company based in Launceston. Run by a professional team who’s skills encompass technical, engineering construction,  joinery, carpentery and shopfitting. The company has been set up to manufacture products using solid wood which combine the benefits of modern double glazed units with the traditional appeal of real timber. Timberland have invested in a comprehensive setup of woodworking machine tools which enables them to manufacture bespoke windows, doors, conservatories and other joinery products to high specification. They are also expert in the use of modern coatings which render their products virtually maintenance free.

We’ve just designed and produced a full colour publicity leaflet for Ellis Nurseries and Gardens near Launceston. Part of the fun was in visiting the nursery and taking the photographs. Ideal conditions for taking pictures of plants are overcast and damp (not a problem this year!) and completely still. The nursery specialises in Euphorbias (Spurges) but also has a great range of perennials. The show gardens are a blaze of colour at this time of the year (June) although there is always something to see all through the year. Visit the Ellis Nurseries website.
